From the Vice President,
All of the US. BMW chapters must have a new official logo by the
end of this year. We must use the logo in all of our formal
communication, such as stationery, websites and newsletters.
Each chapter must have an official logo using the roundel that is
in compliance with the new standards. BMW NA are also asking
for a descriptive statement about our chapter for use on the new
website which will launch in less than two months. The
descriptive statement that we submitted is The Pocono Mt.
Chapter is located in Eastern PA. Our geographic area goes from
Allentown Bethlehem area north to Wilkes-Barre Scranton area.
They are also asking for 6-7 photos of our chapter's activities.
Bryan and I came up with a design. Our first design was sent to
Germany and did not pass. There was a spacing issue. Our
revised logo went back and have not heard anything yet because
they are on Holiday until January 11, 2011.
I have emailed the new logo to all of the Chapter Officers for there
approval which they did.
